Sport giant Nike agreed to a long-term sponsorship agreement with United Soccer Leagues. The Umbro brand will become the official sponsor and exclusive ball supplier of the United Soccer Leagues, including each of its professional and amateur soccer leagues. Nike Soccer will also be involved in certain sponsorship activities of the United Soccer Leagues.

Further, Nike Inc. has sold its ownership of United Soccer Leagues to NuRock Soccer Holdings LLC. Nike Soccer and Umbro continue their focus on serving athletes worldwide by creating and developing quality footwear and apparel while supporting the development of grassroots soccer.
