If you are told that it’s in your genes whether you will keep a pet dog or not, will you believe it?

A study says that the choice of getting a dog home is influenced by the genetic make-up of an individual. The study was published in the journal Scientific Report where the heritability of dog ownership was looked into by the scientists.

The scientists used information from 35, 035 twin pairs from Swedish Twin Registry to carry out the study. The news agency IANS reported.
