Tours won the final match of French Cup against Tourcoing 3:1 and obtained the ticket for the next year of Champions League.

“We did not start well this match. The players were observers, perhaps even a bit cautious. We were well prepared for this event and now we are qualified for the Champions League. Players should enjoy this victory and on Wednesday we will try to take three points in the french championship,” said happy head coach of Tours Earvin N’Gapeth after the game.

David Konecny, opposite of Tours, led the team in attack with 22 points, Kristian Knudsen added 20 points. It is fourth French Cup victory for TVB (2003, 2005, 2006).
