I was in attendance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the SmackDown Live show Tuesday night and witnessed Drew McIntyre leave the six-man tag team match in which he was teaming with Sheamus and Cesaro against The New Day well before Kofi Kingston pinned The Celtic Warrior.
After a spot outside of the ring, McIntyre appeared frustrated and walked away from the ringside area with staff behind fans seated on the floor. There’s been some speculation on social media that McIntyre may have suffered a pulled muscle or some sort of injury that caused him to leave the match well in advance of its conclusion. 
That ended a surprise visit to the Blue Brand for the Scottish Psychopath, who lost his WrestleMania 35 match to Roman Reigns in a battle of RAW Brand Superstars. There is no official announcement as of yet from WWE.
