Foster also appeared in two projects directed by David Lynch: the 2001 film “Mulholland Drive” and 2017 Showtime version of “Twin Peaks.”

Foster’s other television credits included the title roles in the 1972- 73 NBC period detective drama “Banyon” and 1974 ABC police drama “Nakia.” He also had a recurring role as the father of Tim Allen’s character on the ABC comedy “Last Man Standing.”

In “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,” Foster portrayed Ed Galbraith, a vacuum repairman who specializes in relocating people running from the law, giving them new identities for a hefty fee.
