After losing the Universal Championship at SummerSlam, it took less than a month for Brock Lesnar to resurface in WWE. Lesnar didn’t just get involved in the main event of Sunday night’s pay-per-view — the finish of the show was entirely built around his appearance. Roman Reigns speared Braun Strowman through a table, Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose came out to fight on the outside, and Lesnar caused the Hell in a Cell match to end in a no contest.

With the show airing on Wednesday nights on the WWE Network due to Mixed Match Challenge, 205 Live was taped before SmackDown last night. Lio Rush vs. Noam Dar, which was originally announced for this week, is set for next week’s episode. Mustafa Ali will also face Hideo Itami.
Week three of the Mae Young Classic airs on the WWE Network after 205 Live and NXT tonight. Mia Yim vs. Allysin Kay (Sienna), Kaitlyn vs. Kavita Devi, Toni Storm vs. Jinny, and Karen Q vs. Xia Li are this week’s matches.
The $100,000 that WWE is donating to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation was requested by Glenn Jacobs (Kane) in appreciation for appearances he’ll be making for the company this fall.
Natalya and Tyson Kidd appeared on today’s episode of Talk is Jericho, which is a tribute to Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart.
Bobby Lashley told The Big J Show on KRSQ Hot 101.9 that him facing Brock Lesnar is a natural matchup that needs to happen.

Filming has wrapped on “‘Girl On The Third Floor,” a haunted house horror movie that stars CM Punk. Deadline wrote that Punk plays “Don Koch, a man who is failing as a husband. He now views fixing up an old house as a chance to make up for past mistakes. Meanwhile, his wife, Liz Koch, is concerned about the renovation timeline as they have a baby on the way. As Don tears the house apart, it begins to tear him apart as well, revealing the rot behind the drywall.” Deadline also noted that this is “the first movie for fledgling genre production and distribution outfit Queensbury Pictures.”
Despite Conor McGregor tweeting that tomorrow’s press conference to promote Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor will be open to the public, MMA Junkie reported that it will remain a press-only event. It will also be streamed live.
