Fatal-4-Way Title Match Added To WWE Royal Rumble, 205 Live Matches


We have a new title match for our first pay-per-view of 2019.

On this week’s “Best Of 2018” episode of 205 Live, an announcement was made regarding Buddy Murphy’s defense of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at next month’s WWE Royal Rumble PPV.

Murphy will be defending his title in a Fatal-4-Way match against three competitors, two of which that will be decided in qualifying matches on next week’s 205 Live show.

205 Live next week will feature Kalisto vs. Lio Rush and Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak in qualifying matches, with the winners moving on to fill two of the three challenger spots against Murphy at WWE Royal Rumble. In two weeks, the third and final challenger will be decided in the final qualifying match on 205 Live, which will see Hideo Itami battle Cedric Alexander.

WWE Royal Rumble goes down from Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday, January 27th, airing live via pay-per-view and the WWE Network. Make sure to join us here on 1/27 for live coverage of the show.
