Triple H Says WWE Is Willing To Co-Promote Big Event With New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW)

Could there be a WWE and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) co-promoted event on the horizon?

During a recent interview with the folks at Sun Sport in the United Kingdom, WWE executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque spoke about being willing to join forces with the top promotion in Japan for a potential partnership of some kind with WWE.

“We have an alliance with PROGRESS in the UK, a situation with ICW in Scotland, two very well run and respected promotions that do good business – but more importantly they are cultivating talent,” Triple H told Sun Sport. “They are not just exploiting talent and grabbing guys to do a show with them, they are teaching talent and trying to make them better, which is what it is all about for me.”

When asked about the possibility of cross-promoting some events with NJPW, “The Game” seemed open to the idea.

“Is there opportunity for cross-promotional events?” Triple H continued, “Absolutely, with the right things. It’s a blank slate and I’m open to just about anything if the right situation shows itself.”
