With regard to Bray Wyatt returning to Monday Night Raw this week, many have wondered if the segment was the start to a longer-term program with The Fiend, or if the attack was perhaps a way to write-off Finn Balor. Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported earlier this week that Balor would be taking upwards of two months away from the ring to “recharge”.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed that Wyatt vs. Balor is in fact on the card for this year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view in Toronto, taking place on Sunday, August 11th. While this could change, a source also noted that Balor is not currently slated to use “The Demon” gimmick during the match.
