Io Shirai Comments on WWE Debut

In case you missed it, arguably the single greatest women’s wrestler on the planet today, the “Genius of the Sky” Io Shirai, made her highly anticipated WWE debut to close out the first round of the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament.

The former Stardom ace picked up a dominant win over 19-year-old sensation Xia Brookside, and following the match caught up with WWE cameras to discuss how it felt stepping into the ring for the company for the very first time.

Matsumoto Heading to WWE NXT?

Another excellent Japanese talent, Hiroyo Matsumoto, will join fellow Stardom veteran Io Shirai in the second round of the Mae Young Classic, after a big win over Rachel Evers.
