WWE.com has picked up on the recent Twitter exchange between Goldberg and Steve Austin, which started when someone mistook Austin for Goldberg.

Back in the day, it was easy for a casual viewer of the Monday Night Wars to mix up “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Goldberg. After all, they’re both large, bald and bearded men. It would appear that, twenty years later, one Denny’s had yet to get the memo.

Goldberg, who joined Austin in the WWE Hall of Fame this year, responded to this case of mistaken identity in kind, and a playful back-and-forth ensued between the former Universal and WWE Champions. The exchange ended with Goldberg offering to literally send waffles to the Broken Skull Ranch.

It might not be the Austin vs. Goldberg dream match we’ve always wanted, but it’s delicious all the same.

Stratus On Evolution

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus Tweeted the following, hyping WWE Evolution, at which she will face Alexa Bliss:

Bret Hart Receives Honorary Blackfoot Name

According to the Calgary Herald, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was honored by the Siksika Elder Miiksika’am with a Blackfoot name meaning Courageous Chief during a smudging ceremony and face painting Thursday.

“I think it’s a great name,” said Hart. “It might be too bold a name for me . . . It’s a huge honour for me. Growing up here all my life, being from Calgary, there’s a strong sensitivity to the struggles” of Indigenous people.

It was an honour today to receive my Blackfoot name Iyiikitapinaa (Ee-ee-kaa-ta-bee-na) meaning Courageous Chief – Thank you to everyone in the Sik Sika nation and @mrulife #blackfoot #siksika
