Hideo Itami has only recently just begun his career on WWE’s main roster as part of the cruiserweight division on Monday Night Raw and 205 Live. Itami’s run on Raw has already gotten off to a bit of a rocky start as he accidentally injured The Brian Kendrick during a match with the GTS, resulting in WWE reportedly banning Itami from using the move. WWE updated fans by revealing that Kendrick received a broken nose and orbital bone from Itami’s GTS on Raw. Itami put out a brief statement on the matter on Twitter. He encouraged Kendrick to get well soon and said that the former Cruiserweight Champion earned his respect.

With the first women’s Royal Rumble match coming up next month, fans have been speculating on a number of different surprise entrants who could be involved in the historic match. Chelsea Green (also known as Laurel Van Ness in Impact Wrestling) just recently teased that she too could be joining the match as a surprise entrant. WWE does reportedly have interest in signing Green, but it was just revealed recently that Green is under contract to Impact until the summer of 2018 and Green is also the current Knockouts Champion. Regardless, it is always possible that Impact could grant Green her release before the Royal Rumble begins.
