All-Women’s Casino Battle Royale Set for AEW All Out – Legendary Name Announced!

All Elite Wrestling has confirmed that the unique Casino Battle Royale, which originally debuted at Double or Nothing earlier this year, will make its return for the upcoming AEW ALL OUT pay-per-view.

The gimmick is similar to that of WWE’s long-running Royal Rumble match, but with 21 stars in total that come out in blocks of 5, followed by a surprise final entrant. These blocks are themed after playing card suits – the Hearts, Spades, Clubs, and Diamonds.

This time around, the Royale will be made up exclusively of female wrestlers, with the winner earning a coveted place in the match to crown AEW’s first ever women’s world champion. As previously reported, that match will take place on the debut episode of AEW television on TNT on Wednesday, October 2nd.

On the latest edition of The Road to AEW All Out, Brandi Rhodes announced the aforementioned match, and teased popular stars like Dr. Britt Baker, Nyla Rose and even herself as possible entrants.

However, as the current AEW roster does not currently have 21 stars signed, they have announced that former Lucha Underground star Ivelisse, former WWE and NWA women’s champion and wrestling legend Jazz, as well as Teal Piper, the daughter of the late Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

AEW All Out takes place on Saturday, August 31st at the Sears Center in Chicago, IL.
