Speaking as a guest on TF1’s Téléfoot programme, former France captain Alou Diarra looked back on his career and the events of the week, notably his unfortunate spell with West Ham. The highlights of what he had to say as below:

“Signing for West Ham was the worst decision I made in my career… Diego Costa is a detestable player who does not play by the rules at all… I think that the arrival of Yoann Gourcuff at Rennes is a good thing, I believe that he will come back.”
