The Recording Academy has brought together music’s biggest superstars to honor the life and career of the late Aretha Franklin.
Celine Dion, Patti LaBelle, John Legend and Smokey Robinson are just among some of the legendary names of the star-studded musical concert, which was held at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles this past Sunday, Jan. 13. The tribute also saw the likes of many 2019 Grammy nominees as well, including Janelle Monae and SZA.
Aretha Franklin, who died last year from pancreatic cancer at the age of 76, was a trailblazer artist who raised the bar for music industry standards.
Hosted by Tyler Perry, “Aretha! A GRAMMY Celebration For The Queen Of Soul” will air March 10 on CBS.
