New-IMPACT Wrestling Champion Brian Cage was rushed to the hospital last night, after suffering an unspecified back injury in the semi-main event of IMPACT’s Rebellion event. Cage took to Twitter to update his fans, if not on his condition, then on his mindset.

Accompanying a picture of the IMPACT Champion barely fitting in a hospital bed, Cage had the following to say:

Not how I wanted or ever imagined this incredible night would end. I’ve chased this moment and have dreamt about this my entire life. And to have this be the outcome, I’d be lying if I said it didn’t break my heart.

There is currently no word on the severity of the injury, or how long Cage will be out of action.
