Bruno Sammartino passed away one week ago at the age of 82. The Italian wrestler will forever be known as one of the most influential professional wrestlers of all time, and personalities from all over the world have been paying tribute to Bruno over the past few days. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now revealed that the exact cause of Sammartin’s death can be traced to multiple organ failures that he had been experiencing due to heart issues that he had. The report mentions that he suffered from rheumatic fever as a child, which can lead to heart problems later in life. Bruno had been privately visiting the hospital over the past few months due to his declining health.
John Cena and Nikki Bella, one of the biggest couples in all of WWE recently announced that they had split up and will not be getting married after all. Hollywood Life has now reported that Nikki Bella is moving on from John Cena, and she will make sure that the next person that she dates has more of the same interests that she has. This primarily means the desire to get married and have children one day. Entertainment Tonight has also revealed that Cena and Bella’s breakup was filmed and will likely be airing on an upcoming episode of Total Divas or Total Bellas. Extra also managed to interview Brie Bella and get her thoughts on the recent split between Cena and her sister.
The Greatest Royal Rumble will be taking place in Saudi Arabia tomorrow night, and the show will feature the first-ever 50-man Royal Rumble match. Just over half of the participants have been announced for the match, leaving plenty of room for surprise entrants and other WWE Superstars to enter the match unexpectedly. However, there does appear to be one confirmation for the match now: Smackdown Superstar Randy Orton will enter the match as entrant #22. A new photo from inside of the stadium in Saudi Arabia shows that Orton will indeed be the 22nd man to enter the match tomorrow. None of the other participants confirmed for the match have had their numbers announced in advance so far.
