Fans were heartbroken when WWE broke the news that they had decided to release Emma from her contract last year. The Australian wrestler had been looked at as one of the true pioneers of the ‘Women’s Evolution’ in WWE, but the company decided to release her due to an apparent lack of ideas for her. Emma later promised fans that she would continue her wrestling career on the independent circuit as soon as her 90-day no-compete clause with WWE came to an end. Now that the clause is through, Emma has returned. Emma (now known as Tenille Dashwood) defeated Angelina Love at the recent WrestlePro event in her first post-WWE match over the weekend.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson still remains one of the top stars in the entertainment industry today. Johnson is also busy working on his next project, and right now, that just so happens to be his upcoming Skyscraper film. The Rock had been teasing the debut of the trailer for the movie throughout the weekend, and as promised, the trailer officially premiered last night. The trailer aired during yesterday’s Super Bowl event and Johnson talked about the film during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon late last night. Johnson’s newest action thriller will be released in theaters on July 13th, 2018. Feel free to check out the trailer for yourself down below:
It may be hard to believe, but Sasha Banks has mostly worked as a babyface throughout her run on WWE’s main roster. NXT fans have been begging to see Sasha turn heel at some point and reprise her “Legit Boss” persona that she developed during her time in the developmental brand. She displayed some heelish tactics during her time in the women’s Royal Rumble match and in her match against Asuka last week, but Banks herself has recently teased that she could be turning heel very soon. Some fans are speculating that she could be turning on her best friend Bayley soon in order to set up a match at WrestleMania 34. A cryptic tweet sent out from Banks may suggest that the company is headed in that direction.
She remembered who she was and the game changed.
