During recent discussions initiated by Juventus for Corentin Tolisso, Lyon were able to ask the Serie A side about the availability of French left-back Patrice Evra, according to L’Équipe.

Following the signing of Memphis Depay, Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas wants to complete the January window with the signing of Patrice Evra, but as of yesterday was waiting for the green light from manager Bruno Génésio to pursue the player.

If that green light is given, Lyon will face tough competition from Premier League side Crystal Palace, who are in advanced negotiations to sign the player.
