Marseille attacking midfielder Rémy Cabella has confirmed to La Provence and Foot Mercato that OM have activated the buy-out option to sign the player on a permanent deal from Newcastle United.

Cabella had the following to say:

“Normally, I should [be staying]. The option has been activated, I am very happy to be at Marseille, a club that I wanted to come to for a long time. I will do everything to go as far as possible with this club.”
