The card for Sunday’s Payback pay-per-view is now up to six confirmed matches.

It was announced on SmackDown tonight that Matt Riddle vs. Baron Corbin will take place at Payback this Sunday. It will be Riddle’s first PPV match since joining the SmackDown roster.

Riddle and Corbin’s feud has included Corbin offering a “King’s Ransom” to anyone who can prove that Riddle doesn’t belong on SmackDown. Riddle called out Corbin on SmackDown tonight, but Shorty G attacked Riddle from behind as Corbin was coming out to the ring. Corbin said he accepts Riddle’s challenge for a match — on behalf of Shorty G.

Riddle defeated Shorty G in their match tonight. When Corbin tried to attack him after, Riddle ducked out of the way. They fought and Riddle went for a kick, but Corbin avoided it and bailed.

Corbin later cut a promo vowing that he’ll prove at Payback that Riddle doesn’t belong in his kingdom.
