If you ever wished to be an Oscar Mayer wiener, if that is what you’d truly like to be, now is your chance.

Oscar Mayer, the Chicago-based company behind the iconic traveling marketing tool the Wienermobile, is looking for applicants interested in making their hot dog dreams come true. The company is hiring “Hotdoggers” — employees paid to travel the nation for a year in the Wienermobile and spread the hot dog gospel.

The job, which is targeted to graduating college seniors, requires applicants to be creative, outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic. They should also have an appetite for adventure and a desire to see the country through the windshield of the Wienermobile.

Job duties include serving as an ambassador, meeting hot dog fans and marketing the Oscar Mayer brand while traveling.

However, if you really want a Wiener Whistle but would rather forgo the yearlong commitment, the Wienermobile is scheduled to make several stops on its cross-country trek in the coming weeks.
