Top Star Likely To Miss WWE Extreme Rules, How It Could Impact the Team Hell No Title Match

It was announced earlier today that WWE Smackdown Live star The Miz will be appearing in the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game taking place in Washington, DC, at 4pm EST on July 15th. The event takes place at Nationals Park, and is on the same day as WWE Extreme Rules.

As we reported yesterday, there had been rumors that The Miz would be costing Daniel Bryan and Kane the Smackdown Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules, in order to setup an eventual singles match between Bryan and Miz, but that appears unlikely as it would prove very difficult for The Miz to appear at both the Softball game and the WWE PPV.

With Daniel Bryan’s WWE future in question as of late, reports claimed WWE might be speeding him into feuds that were planned for later this year, on the off-chance Bryan decides he will be leaving WWE after his contract expires in September.

This year’s Extreme Rules PPV takes place in Pittsburgh, and while it’s theoretically possible for WWE to fly The Miz to Pittsburgh immediately after the Softball game, it does not seem likely they would be able to get Miz to the show in time unless The Team Hell No bout takes place towards the end of the evening.

Will @mikethemiz be hitting home-runs when he participates in the @MLB All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game? Find out Sunday, July 15 in Washington, D.C.’s National Park! https://t.co/j6RdGN0fv0
