UFC women’s fighter Paige VanZant’s next UFC fight has been announced.

VanZant, coming off a successful appearance on “Dancing with the Stars,” is scheduled to return to UFC on Saturday, August 27 for a UFC on Fox special.

This is the weekend after WWE’s Summerslam PPV; VanZant was rumored to be on WWE’s watch list for celebrity involvement.

Update: VanZant told Fox Sports that she will not be part of Summerslam and has pulled out of a movie role in the “Kickboxer” re-make to focus on her return to fighting.

“Right now I’m 100-percent fight-focused and I would love to participate in anything the WWE has to offer when the timing’s right as long as it works with my fight schedule. I love WWE and if they ever reached out to me again I think I would definitely love to work with them but right now I’m focused on Bec Rawlings,” VanZant said.

Separate from VanZant, WWE and UFC are working together to promote Brock Lesnar’s UFC return fight on July 9 while under contract to WWE.
