At the WWE Roadblock: End of the Line pay-per-view on Sunday night, WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns met in a “Champion vs. Champion” main event.

The match held in the main event of Sunday night’s show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania saw an inadvertent assist from ex-friend Chris Jericho help Kevin Owens walk out of the PPG Paints Arena with his WWE Universal Championship in tact.

Jericho hit a Codebreaker on his former friend, which led to Reigns being disqualified. Owens would win the main event via disqualification, retaining his WWE Universal Championship in the process.
