— Mauro Ranallo welcomed us to Full Sail University alongside Nigel McGuinness and Percy Watson. Everyone is still buzzing and trying to figure out why attacked former NXT Champion Aleister Black…

IN-RING SEGMENT

Johnny Gargano hobbled his way to the ring on a crutch, as the fans chanted “JOHNNY WRESTLING!” He said for once he doesn’t deserve those chants, because he failed himself and he failed the fans. Tommaso Ciampa is still standing, he’s still the NXT Champion, and Johnny said he just doesn’t know where to go from there. He said he’s broken a lot of promises and he’s been through hell, but the worst part about it all is that he lost himself along the way. Gargano got emotional and said that he has become Ciampa, and that he can’t get the demons out of his head no matter how hard he tries.

NXT General Manager William made his way out and asked Johnny straight up if he was responsible for attacking Aleister Black. Gargano said the two of them have known each other for a long time, and can’t believe that Regal even has to ask that question, telling him to look into his eyes and find the answer.

Before they can go any further, Velveteen Dream made his way to the stage and got a huge reaction from the fans. The Dream said he was sick of listening to Johnny Gargano sing the same song every week, and he’s especially sick of people talking about Aleister Black, who isn’t even in the building tonight. Dream called him “Johnny Failure” and Gargano threw his crutch at him. The two nearly came to blows, but Regal got in between them and told them to get the hell out of his ring. If they want to fight, they’ll do it next week!

DAKOTA KAI vs. ALIYAH

Aliyah had a few fans in the audience, but didn’t fair well early on as she was met with a dropkick to get things started. Kai went for another dropkick but came up empty, and Aliyah immediately went after her on the mat with clubbing blows, firing off with wild rights and lefts. She slowed things down momentarily with a leg scissors until Kai battled back, actually lifting her opponent up on her back and slamming into the corner to break up the hold.

Kai connected with a spinning kick, a running kick in the corner, and another running kick to a nearly unconscious opponent that would have given Sami Zayn a run for his money. She looked to put things away, but Aliyah found some gas left in the tank and hit a neckbreaker out of nowhere. Powerbomb attempt coming, but Kai fought out and hit her Sunset Backbreaker to score the win. Solid match.
