WWE is continuing to tease the debut of A.J. Styles through social media.
Top star John Cena posted a photo of Styles online, then WWE’s website followed up by speculating on Styles’s WWE status.
WWE is hoping to create additional interest for the Royal Rumble PPV on Sunday. Styles is actually pegged as a Top 10 favorite to win the Rumble by domestic oddsmakers.
Bovada released their betting odds on Wednesday, which includes Styles tied with Rusev, Sheamus, and Braun Strowman as the #10 favorite. Bovada’s odds read:
(1) Triple H as the favorite at 6-5 (+120).
(2) Roman Reigns close behind at 9-5 (+180).
(3) Brock Lesnar at 3-1 (+300).
(4) Bray Wyatt at 15-1 (+1,500), clearly separating #1-3 from the rest of the pack.
(5) The Rock at 16-1.
(6) Daniel Bryan at 18-1.
(7 & 8) Dean Ambrose & Kevin Owens at 20-1.
(9) The Undertaker at 25-1.
(10) Styles, Sheamus, and Strowman at 33-1 (+3,300).
