WWE WrestleMania 38 to reportedly be a two-night event

A new report says that WrestleMania 38 next year could be a two-night event.

Fightful Select reported this morning that the plan internally as of last week was for the show, which will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, to be split up as a two-night event on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3. If these plans are confirmed, it would be the first two-night WrestleMania event to be held in front of a full crowd.

The move to another two-night event would come after WrestleMania 37 became the first event to be held on two consecutive nights, being held on April 10 and 11. Bianca Belair defeated Sasha Banks to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship on night one, while Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan and Edge in a triple threat match to retain the Universal Championship on night two.

WrestleMania 39 is scheduled to be held on April 2, 2023 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. This was the original home for this year’s WrestleMania, however plans changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
