Despite the holidays it’s a huge week for the WWE NXT brand, as Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong of the Undisputed Era get set to defend their NXT Tag Team Championships against the heavyweight bruisers, Heavy Machinery. Plus, a huge fatal four-way match will determine the #1 contender to Shayna Baszler’s title, as Japanese phenom Io Shirai squares off Mia Yim, Bianca Belair and Lacey Evans.

WWE 205 Live

Tonight’s episode of WWE 205 Live will be a year-in-review episode looking back on some of the best action of 2018, with a brand new General Manager in Drake Maverick calling the shots and booking the matches.

WWE NXT UK

We actually have no idea what’s going on with today’s two-part block of NXT UK. The company website lists a preview for ONE episode that talks about Ligero facing Joe Coffey, but the WWE Network schedule lists two new episodes, as per usual, and neither mention that bout. There is a title defense listed between Rhea Ripley and Deonna Purrazzo, which we figure WWE would want to promote as happening, but it’s nowhere to be seen on the website and none of their social media has been updated since last Wednesday.

So… Watch the show? It might be good?
